Stopped by here to get a slice of cheese pizza for my son since we were already on the shopping center. It wasn't busy and it was hot inside. I felt bad for the employees having to deal with the temperature conditions. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful and she brought the pizza out to us outside in the court yard.
The thin crispy crust and sauce and cheese ration gave it that New York style and it was surprisingly good! The price and portion for the slice is pretty decent too. $3.84 (taxes included)
Final thoughts: first time here and it was hit. Decent price for a decent price and oh yea.. it's good! -

As someone who has lived in & out of NYC for several years, this is definitely New York style pizza. The thin crust, the amount of sauce and cheese, it's all there.
The only thing that is a bit off to me is the feel of it in my mouth, and I know that sounds incredibly bougey and hoighty, but I just can't place my finger on what it is. It doesn't feel right. It could be that they just don't have access to the same toppings as they do in NYC, but it's probably as close as we can expect out here on the West Coast. -

It's New York style pizza but not an authentic New York slice, but what do you expect? It's pretty good by the slice and if you eat it straight out of the oven, otherwise the dead sauce and crappy crust comes through.

Irvine's best New York style pizza by the slice. Once again by the slice. Just decent pizza if you get the whole pie but just by the slice is on another level. The crisp it up really well. No flop and has a nice tangy sauce. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio and fresh dough.

Very nasty experience! Tried calling owner, Francisco, but could not reach him. Maria needs a refresher on proper customer service. Will never return!
